Annual Rare Breeds and Varieties Poultry Show:

Longford, Tasmania.

This year our annual show will be held at: Longford Showgrounds

Judging commences at 9am sharp, official opening of the show at 10am

Our Judges are; 

Trevor Dent (SA) - Rare Varieties

Kevin Smith (VIC) - Rare Breeds

Joel Stingle (Tas) - Eggs

Feature Breeds: Mediterranean

All show entries to be posted or emailed to the secretary with payment. 

Payment can now be made by direct deposit, please enclose screenshot of receipt or printed receipt to show that payment has been made and enclose with entries.

This year we have our "Breed of Origin" schedule once again, see below...

Any rare breed which is recognised in the Australian, British or American Poultry standards will be accepted.  Any breed which is not mentioned in the above standards can be entered in the "Most Promising New Breed"

Schools to no longer be seen as juniors, but will pay the same membership as an adult being recognised as a single entity.  Schools will compete against each other, as well as being part of the open show.
