Each year, at the Annual General Meeting, a Rare Breed and Variety sub-committee is elected to meet and discuss the two "Lists".  

The Rare Breeds sub-committee shall produce a list of rare breeds and varieties, divided into recognised breeds that are considered rare, and recognised colour varieties considered rare (although the breed may not be rare).  These two lists are reviewed annually, and any changes to the lists of rare breeds and varieties, are circulated to all club members one month prior to being table at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
